Heath Service delivery to begin through technology in Afghanistan

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, is setting up to launch an electronic health service in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health.

To this end, in series of his meetings Minister of Communications and Information Technology Shahzad Aryobee,this time met with executive officer of On Point Cyber Company on Tuesday, June 26, 2018.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views over issues such as providing health services through Telemedicine, information and cyber security, management of internet Bandwidth through a specific system.

The executive officer of the On Point Cyber Company pledged to work with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Afghanistan in the aforementioned areas.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology intends to connect the Kabul Jamhoriyat Hospital, Paktika Hospital and Samangan Hospital with Information Technology under the Telemedicine Program and the Internet by the end of the current year.
