MCIT inaugurates Digital Telephone with 10000 line in Aino Town
Acting Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Syed Ahmad Shah Sadaat aiming to inaugurate digital telephone device with 10000 lines visited Kandahar province .
Eng. Sadaat and his companion delegation faced warm welcome by the officials and people of Kandahar province at a ceremony, which was held on this occasion.

In addition to the MCIT officials, the gathering was attended by Deputy Governor of Abdul Hanan Monib, chairman of provincial council Haji Saeyd Jan Khakrizawal, chairman of the chambers of commerce and industry Haji Nasrullah Zahir, national merchants Mr. Mahmoud Karzai and other tribal elders.
At the outset of the meeting Eng. Syed Ahmad Shah Sadaat thanked the people and official profiles of Kandahar for warm welcoming and expressed his pleasure saying I am honored to be in this historic city of Afghanistan. Minister Sadaat said that 5 million dollars had been spent over this project and it will provide opportunities the honored people of the Kandahar province to have access to quality internet and telephone services and digital services will be developed throughout Kandahar.
He added that currently digital telephone system is in operation in 19 provinces of the country and citizens enjoy wide and quality internet and telephone facilities with reasonable price.
Eng. Sadaat also mentioned that MCIT has plenty of plans to transform Afghanistan into a digital country. Minister Sadaat said that we are struggling to free Afghanistan from the monopoly of neighboring countries.
During the hearings, Eng. Syed Ahmad Shah Sadaat ensured that all districts of the Kandahar province would be taken under the coverage of telecommunication services.
