Request of Arrangement for Capacity Building of MCIT Staff

I am writing this on behalf of Ministry of Communication & Information Technology (MCIT), Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to explore the possibility of having some fruitful arrangement with your institute to hold trainings for capacity building of our officials.  Ministry of Communication & Information Technology is working in the field of promoting and establishing the telecommunication and IT sectors in Afghanistan with the vision to create an Information Society in Afghanistan. To achieve this objective, MCIT is continuously working on several strategies. MCIT is also working in collaboration with international agencies for this purpose.

MCIT has a large workforce of managerial and technical officials. To meet its objectives MCIT is continuously making efforts to build and update the capacity of its officials. It is in line with these initiatives we are looking for arrangement with your institute for capacity building.

Broadly, MCIT has identified the functional/technical and management areas for training intervention. These areas are Leadership, Good Governance, Strategic Management, Planning, Decision Making, Project Management, Team Building, Negotiation, Conflict Resolution, Presentation & Communication skills, Customer Relation Management, Financial Management, Procurement Management, Store Management, Software design & development, Monitoring & Evaluation. The target group for training would be senior functionaries working as policymakers and as senior managers.
