Minister Aryobee chairs the meeting of National e-ID Cards coordinating committee

Acting minister of Communications and Information Technology Shahzad Aryobee chaired a meeting of the coordinating committee of distribution National electronic ID Cards on Wednesday, October 11, 2017.

Technical officials of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the chairman and technical assistant of the Civil Registration Office and the head of GTR, were participated at the meeting.

Initially, the members of the Coordinating Committee, provided detailed information on the preparations, centers, equipment and means of distributing e-ID respectively, then minister Aryobee expressed his satisfaction with the work of the "Coordinating Committee" and emphasized on immediate initiation of this great national process.

It should be noted that all technical issues of Electronic ID Cards relates to the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology, preparations  have been made in this regard and its distribution will begin as soon as possible.
