Public Consultation for Information and Communications Technology Policy

As per the organizational and sectorial requirements the Ministry of Communications and IT has developed its first ICT Policy in year 2003 which led the Ministry to manage and develop the sector. Since that policy was adopted for 10 years (2003-2013) only, MCIT started the process of updating the policy and here we are sharing with you the draft ICT policy for the coming 10 years (2015-2024).

We would like the community, private sector, individuals and civil society to comment on the policy and share their recommendations. As the policy is not only for the ICT sector but it is the overarching policy
discussing how to use ICT as toll in our daily life, we request individuals not related to ICT sector to also actively take part in this public consultation.
