Acting minister of MCIT visits various sections of the Institute of Communications and Information Technology

Acting minister of Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) Shahzad Gul Aryobee met with students of the Institute of Communications and Information Technology (ICTI) and also visited different parts of the institute on Wednesday, September 20, 2017.

Having heard the students, minister Aryobee emphasized on urgent solution to the problems of students, he added that the equipped library and laboratories for scientific research and innovation is of priority which needs to be created.

Minister Aryobee pledged to provide scholarships for the privileged students of the institute and endeavors to repair its building again.

On the sideline, minister of MCIT visited the Innovation Office of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and stressed on the consumption of its budget as saying that will lead to support young people who have the talent of creativity and innovation.

The leadership of the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology intends to upgrade the institute to the University of Science and Technology and equip it with international scientific standards.
