Design, Supply, Installation, & Commissioning of SDH Systems, DGs, ACs, Vehicles, and other Goods for Expanding Optical Fiber Cable based backbone connectivity to connect 05 Provincial Capitals and 03 Districts of Afghanistan.

The Ministry of Communications and IT intends to apply part of the Core Development Budget (CDB) to payments under the contract for Design, Supply, Installation & Commissioning of SDH Systems, DGs, ACs, Vehicles, and other Goods for Expanding Optical Fiber Cable based backbone connectivity to connect 05 Provincial Capitals and 03 Districts of Afghanistan

The Ministry of Communications and IT now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Design, Supply, Installation, & Commissioning of SDH Systems, DGs, ACs, Vehicles, and other Goods for Expanding Optical Fiber Cable based backbone connectivity to connect 05 Provincial Capitals and 03 Districts of Afghanistan (“the Facilities”). All the Equipment and the Goods as listed in the Bidding Documents of this Package will be installed and commissioned by the Bidder to connect 05 Provincial Capital Cities (Farah, Panjshir, Sar-e-Pol, Qala-e-Naw and Zaranj) of Afghanistan and 03 Districts (Murgab, Delaram and Khash Rod) with the existing OFC Ring Project of MCIT, as required by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) at Kabul, Afghanistan. International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Ministry of Communications and IT’s Single-Stage Bidding Procedure.

Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures specified in the MCIT’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works, and Non-consulting Services, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the guidelines
