MCIT - Celebrates Tenth year of Ratification the Constitution of Afghanistan

Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT) officially celebrated tenth year of adoption the Constitution of Afghanistan. to mark this occasion  a gathering was held at MCIT. The event was attended by H.E. Deputy (Admin & Fin) Minister Wahabbudin Sadaat, Board of directors of the MCIT, The representative of Independent Commission for supervision Of the Implementation of the Constitution and mass media.

Wahabbudin Sadaat welcomed the participants and spoke about the importance of constitution and its implementation in a society and said, constitution is a national guaranty, and therefore every citizen is obliged to observe the law. Further he said that there are two factors impeding us in law enforcement: corruption and mediation; eradication of corruption in a society needs to enforce the law. The rule of law requires not only ratification, but enforcement, implementation and awareness of it, which are the most basic, the other important thing is modification of law according requirements of circumstances. He continued that MCIT pays serious attention on implementation of the Constitution, and halted to meritocracy and employing on deserving and Skills in the ministry. He stressed whenever we are completely honest, law-abiding we can make big changes in our country.


Then member of The Independent Commission for supervision Of the Implementation of the Constitution Mr. Mohammad Amin Ahmadi praised the achievements of MCIT and said: according provisions of the Constitution MCIT has largely provided   employment and created competitiveness in the market of our country. The Constitution has great value, because reconciles Islamic values with international priorities in it. Observing Islamic tenets prevent tyranny.

At the end voice Chairman of ATRA Mr. Khair Mohammad Faizi also spoke around the importance of the Constitution and law. He said: all our achievements and progress in the field of Telecommunications and Information Technology is in accordance with the Constitution and laws of Afghanistan.
