The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology completed all its anti-corruption activities.

Shahzad Aryobee Minister of Communications and Information Technology attended the meeting of the Supreme Council for the Rule of Law chaired by H.E Mohammad Ashraf Ghani the president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan   in the Chahchenar palace of Arg on Wednesday, March 27, 2019.

In this meeting, the Anti-Corruption Special Secretariat reported on the implementation of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy (FY 1397), that the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology had planned its action on five priorities: 1. Promoting and developing e-governance for transparency; 2. Creating facilities, speed and transparency in delivering  public services; 3. Delivering Transparent Telecommunication and Internet Services across Afghanistan; 4. Promoting capacity and attracting specialist personnel, 5. Strengthening transparency and accountability in the administration, and 33 basic activities that 31 of the basic activities have been completed by the end of fiscal year 1397 and the rest 2 essential activities have by this time been completed, that is to say, the Ministry of Communications has fully completed its Anti-Corruption Action Plan.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology is committed to a serious fight against corruption, has close working relations with anti-corruption agencies, and draws up its action plan in accordance with the National Anti-Corruption Strategy under the competent committee each year.

And shares the implementation report of the plan, together with the documents with relevant authorities each quarter.
