This addendum is issue to the RFP for the National Internet Exchange of Afghanistan (NIXA) and National Internet Registry of Afghanistan (NIRA) project of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan on 13th of April 2014. As per the decision by the bidding committee in order to give more opportunities to registered bidders to put together the best proposal to the RFP, the following changes or amendments are approved.

 

  1. As per the RFP the bidder has to come up with complete MLOS connectivity solution connecting two ISPs to ANDC at MCIT building, the frequency for MLOS will provided for through MCIT from ATRA. The bidder will also be responsible for complete integration of the solution at ANDC including power connectivity from ANDC power supply unit and Internet; ANDC will only provide space for hosting.

 

  1. The closing date of original RFP was 16th of April 2014 but it is now extended to 26th of April 2014.

 

  1. The amendment in regards to the brands and models are given below, the sections and items that are not included in the following table are to be quoted and proposed as per the initial BoQ circulated with the RFP document.
