Information and Question/Answer session regarding Enhancing the Disaster Recovery (Backup) and Business Continuity of the Web & Email Hosting Systems and Infrastructure

Mr. Payab kick started with welcome note delivered to all participants and participants introduced themselves on behalf of their organization.
Question and Answer session was held by MCIT staff for participant to clear out all ambiguities regarding project.
Question/Answer Session:
Q: What are the available hardware for ANDC?
A: We have active hardware equipment in service from CISCO and Sun Solaris.
Q: In case MCIT procures new servers and storages after the completion of this project, will the vendor be responsible for the second time migration?
A: No, in that case MCIT will perform the migration.
Q: What are software solutions available for hosting services?
A: Parallel Plesk and MailEnable Enterprise Edition are being employed as software solutions for ANDC hosting services.
Q: If any security breach happens, who will be responsible for it?
A: If security breach is relevant to network, then ANDC will take responsibility for it, otherwise, code failure or any other code related issues are to be tackled by vendor.
Q: How do you foresee the capacity of the systems after the deployment of this project?
A: Client hosting capacity must increase up to 250% from available volume.
Q: Are bid winner to be briefed about current problems of current CMS?
A: Yes
Q: What components are included in CMS backup of ANDC?
A: As mentioned in RFP.
