Minister Communications and Information Technology: Herat has High potential to become a Digital City

Mohammad Fahim Hashimi acting Minister of Communications and Information Technology appreciated the technology activists at a ceremony celebrating the rapid development of technology in Herat province, saying that Herat is an example of technological advancement and will soon be an evolving digital city.

According to him, technology activists in Herat are the real champions of change in our country and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology fully supports them all.

Referring to the link between modern life and technology, minister of MCIT said that the presence of Herat in robotic competitions, innovation in schools reflects the extraordinary talent of the province's residents.

"Ancient Herat has good capacities in the field of industry, investment and technology, and the Ministry of Communications and Technology is ready to provide all kinds of support in implementing these capacities," he said.
