Minister of Communications and Information Technology discusses the progress of the new system project for Afghan traffic

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Shahzad Aryobee discussed the progress of the new system of Afghan Traffic with the head of Traffic Directorate General of Ministry of Interior Affairs during a meeting held on Thursday, October 11, 2018.
The scheme for establishing a system for Afghan traffic and streamlining processes has been undertaken by the MCIT’s technical team and for the construction of the system a contract was signed with the GTR Company.
Minister Aryobee expressed hope that by creating a traffic system, traffic licensing procedures, driving licenses and other traffic-related documents would be digitized and it will lead to decreasing the level of crimes, traffic offenses, traffic accidents and traffic jams in cities of the country.
