Result Based Project Management Training for MCIT’s Staff at Kabul under Capacity Building Initiatives of MCIT

Scope of Training:
In continuation of the efforts for the capacity development of the officials of the Ministry, Capacity Building Department of MCIT has designed a training program for the officials of MCIT working in Kabul. The design of this training is based upon the outcomes of the deliberations of a committee constituted for this purpose. Committee considered TNA (Training Need Assessment) report and based upon it identified areas for training that have direct relevance with the office functions and procedures. This training program will be conducted in local language (Dari/Pashtu) so that large number of officials can be trained and training is more effective and more useful for the officials and benefit the Ministry in the long run. The program consists of five areas (Result-based Management, Project Management, Financial Procedures; Monitoring & Evaluation and Planning) which are very relevant for the office work. The total duration of the training for each Batch will be approximately 2 weeks, having 10 Working Days for imparting training (a total of 60 Training Hours-6 Training Hours per day). The participants for this training program will be: Directors, Amers, General Managers and the Managers of MCIT. A total of 120 Staff Members of MCIT will be trained at Kabul. Training will be conducted in 04 batches, 30 participants per batch. Language for Training will be Pashto/Dari.
