Job Description:

The proposed system Content Management System (CMS) was considered after reviewing the functional and technical challenges experience by Afghanistan National Data Center. There is a requirement of disintegrated but scalable system which allows to centralize management as well as central control for future upgrades and updates. The main objective of this job to manage, maintain and develop the existing CMS.

Job Description:

1. 24x7 Network surveillance for the MSS/MGW/IN/HSS/SBC, includes NE accessibility using monitoring tools

2. Fault Management - 1st level Operation and Maintenance (Corrective and Preventive)

3. Reporting, coordination and escalation of faults

4. Generate and issue trouble Tickets using TT tool

5. Interconnection outages and issues endorsement to other operator (domestic and intl)

6. Issuance of fault/flash reports, updates and follow ups.

7. Assist on network modification implementation (i.e. CRQs)

8. Shift, daily, weekly & monthly routines:

    - prepare NOC shift report

    - perform system back-ups system logs, emails, etc

    - IN/SMS prepaid stats monitoring and report

    - Logs event and endorsement

    - check CDR hourly collection

    - Weekly outage evaluation and review

    - Weekly operations complaints reports / pending ticket

    - Daily network status report

    - conducts QoS routine

    - International ASR report

Work on different shifts assigned by Management and should have full knowledge of Solar Winds platform

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Experiences

Engineering graduate of (electronics/communications/IT)
At least one year work experience is desirable
Knowledgeable in networking
Good communication skills

Knowledgeable in MS office/internet

Desirable Attributes:

Good moral character
willing to work on shifting schedule
Good team player
