The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology releases its 1397 year’s annual report

Shahzad Aryobee Minister of Communications and Technology during a meeting shared the activities, achievements of MCIT made in year 1397 with the journalists, media representatives and the Information Access Commission.
Shahzad Aryobee said that "Due to the efforts of the leadership and employees of this ministry we have been able to succeed good achievements and progress in services and providing better context for local and foreign investment in the telecommunication sector that the Alokozai Group Company with more than $ 300 million investment in this sector is one of the good examples of these activities.
Minister Aryobee said that We have signed various bilateral agreements on telecommunication and information technology with various countries, such as the Islamic Republic of Iran, Uzbekistan, Bahrain, China and other countries of the region, the implementation of these agreements will lead to a positive changes being made in quality of the telecommunications services and significant reduction in the rate of the Internet.
"The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has been able to invest in business, create jobs, raise revenue, promote e-government, simplify the delivery of civil services, and pay salaries of state employees through mobile phone," said Shahzad Aryobee.
Shahzad Aryobee minister of MCIT added that connecting 25 provinces of the country with Fiber Optic Network is an effective step towards the development of the telecom sector in the country. Further he said that the connection of other provinces to the Fiber Optic Network will soon be completed.
The Minister of Communications also expressed that although these achievements are considerably more than in previous years, but we do not consider these achievements to be adequate and our efforts will be to achieve far better results.
