Minister of MCIT Participates in the Digital Marketing Conference

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Shahzad Aryobee, attended the Digital Marketing Conference on Thursday, December 14, 2017.
Besides information technology experts the conference was also attended by government and private sector representatives, national traders and mass media representatives.
Speaking about the opportunities for digital marketing, minister Aryobee said: that with each passing day, Afghanistan has made significant progress and achievements in every sector, either state or private sector development project is being opened every day.
However, Afghanistan's development in communications and information technology sectors are faster than other sectors.
Almost three billion dollars have been invested in IT sector and we hope these investment increase over 5$ billion by 2020.
According to the report of the International telecommunication Union, Afghanistan has surpassed 6 countries of the world in the past one year, and it is a clear evidence of further development of this sector. In this context, there are still plenty opportunities for further investments. "
Minister of MCIT further said: We could do much more through the digital marketing. He added: Universities in the world are studying only on this subject, and almost all international companies are making clients worldwide for their products through it.
He added: that our private sector and merchants should also not forget the digital marketing role in the market and to find customers anywhere in the world. "
