The minister of Communications and Technology signs the agreement of cooperation with Tajikistan

The Minister of Communications and Technology (MCIT) Shahzad Aryobee signed the cooperation agreement in the field of telecommunications and information technology with the head of foreign Relations Office of Tajikistan in the presence of Afghan Government’s high level delegation headed by Chief Executive Officer Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Prime minister of Tajikistan and other senior Tajik officials on Friday, June 22, 2018. 

 

The agreement includes regional interconnection through fiber optics, the transfer of Internet Bandwidth, postal services, e-commerce and the exchange of experiences and knowledge in the IT sector and other issues of bilateral interest.

While appreciating the full cooperation of the Republic of Tajikistan with Afghanistan, the Chief Executive Officer of the Unity Government, stated that the expansion of good relations between Afghanistan and Tajikistan are of a great importance for the two countries and have a positive impact on the region.

Tajikistan's Prime Minister, Qahahr Rasoolzadeh, also expressed his satisfaction with the intensification of comprehensive relations between the two countries, adding that Tajikistan is committed to cooperating and developing good relations with Afghanistan.
