Information and Communication Technology Institute Commencement |2012

Forty Nine students graduated from the Information and Communication Technology Institute (ICTI). They received Bachelor Degree Certificates by the delegation of Ministry of Communication & IT during the ceremony which was held in Hotel of Talar-e Shaher on Tuesday December 25, 2012.

Participants of the mentioned ceremony, were His Excellency Eng. Amirzai Sangin Minister of Communication & Information Technology, Board of Directors of MCIT, deputy Minister of Higher Education Mr.Baray Sediqi, Chancellors of Afghan Universities, Members of Mishrano Jirga and Wolasi Jirga, other domestic and foreigner’s guests and media representatives.

At the beginning of the ceremony Chancellor of ICTI, Mr. Mohammad Sharif Sharifi welcomed the guests and all participants, he congratulates the graduated students. He said “may today’s success be the beginning of tomorrow’s achievements”. It is a great pleasure that ICTI has been working under the rules and regulation of Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) and follows up the curriculum of MoHE. He showed his keen interest and happiness by providing 49 young students for serving the Afghan society. Finally, he heartedly appreciated MCIT, ATRA and Afghan Telecom for their financial support with ICTI.

Later His Excellency Minister of MCIT, Eng. Amirzai Sangin heartedly congratulated the graduated students and Said:

“I am very happy that I participate in such kind of amazing ceremonies being held. We are proud that the 49 students are graduated as engineers to serve our country. Now, it is time towards development, progress and prosperity, based on that, our country needs young and skilled force.

“Minister of MCIT mentioned: modern era is the era of science, knowledge and technology and it is important to improve the Quality of Education in our country, with high level of knowledge and modern technology can reach high peaks of progress, the countries for instance Japan, Korea , USA and other states have reached advances thanks to the knowledge and technology. We should struggle especially our new generated young personalities have to try their best to make our country one of the developed countries of the world.

“We brought Internet with high speed by the help of new technology (broadband), 3G and WIMAX, distribution of Electronic ID cards, covering the urban areas which are not covered yet with telecommunication services will be implemented sooner”.

Then deputy minister in student’s affairs of Higher Education Mr. Barai Sadiqi congratulated the students and also he appreciated technological aids of MCIT in order to make the best educational system.

After that Chancellor of Kabul University Mr. Habibullah Habib congratulated the students and thanked the MCIT for its endeavors in training professional individuals.      

At the end of ceremony Miss. Shahla Sharif and Eng. Sahib Khan Members of lower house of Parliament offered their congratulation massages to the graduated students, at the end Graduation Certificates have granted to the graduated students.
