Information and Communication Technology Institute Commencement |2011

Sixty Two students graduated from the Information and Communication Technology Institute (ICTI). They received Bachelor Degree Certificates by the delegation of Ministry of Communication & IT during the ceremony which was held in Hotel of Qasr-e-Auranos on Tuesday January 17th, 2012.

Participants of the mentioned ceremony, were His Excellency Eng. Amirzai Sangin Minister of Communication & Information Technology, His Excellency Deputy Minister-Technical Eng. Baryalai Hassam, Board Directors of MCIT, Chancellors of Afghan Universities, Director of Shamshad TV Mr. Fazal Karim Fazal, other domestic and foreigners guests and media representatives.

At the beginning of the ceremony Chancellor of ICTI, Mr. Mohammad Sharif Sharifi welcomed the guests and all participants, he congratulates the graduated students. He said “may today’s success be the beginning of tomorrow’s achievements”. It is a great pleasure that ICTI has been working under the rules and regulation of Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) and follows up the curriculum of MoHE. He showed his keen interest and happiness by providing 62 young students for serving the Afghan society. Finally, he heartedly appreciated MCIT and ATRA for their financial support with ICTI.

Later on His Excellency Minister of MCIT, Eng. Amirzai Sangin heartedly congratulated the graduated students and Said:

“I am very happy that I participate after decades of destroyer war in such kind of amazing ceremonies being held. We proud that 62 students were graduated as engineers to serve the orphan society after several years of warfare took place in our country.  Now, it is time towards development progress and prosperity, based on that, our country needs young and skilled force “.

“Minister of MCIT mentioned about the lineage and quality of Education in Afghanistan:

 Quality of Education is very important, Afghanistan is a developing country; access to modern technology is difficult for many Afghan citizens, because there is lack of literacy and availability of resources. I think due to years of war the lineage and quality of education is very low and we should struggle especially our new generation and try our best to make our country one of the developed countries of the world to have a better and modern education.”

Our Basic Goals   are as bellow:

“To bring Internet with high speed with the help of new technology (broadband), 3G and WIMAX licenses to be issued, distribution of Electronic ID cards, cover the urban area which are not covered yet with telecommunication services as well as the quality of telecommunication services and decrease the calling price. “

At the end H.E. Eng. Amirzai Sangin said:  “we are trying to make Television broadcasting through   satellite, which has better quality of resolution and amazing sound. Two years later Afghanistan will take first position in telecommunication sector compared to the neighboring countries Ensha Allah, Once again congratulate to graduated students and their respectable family members and wish them more successful at their career.”

At the end of ceremony Mr. Abdul Qayum lecturer of Kabul University, Mohammad Rashid Deputy Executive Officer of AWCC one after another read their congratulation massages to the graduated students, at the end Graduation Certificates have granted to the graduated students.
