India to contribute in activating Afghansat 2
Mohammad Fahim Hashimi acting minister of Communications and Information Technology met with Ambassador Vinai Kumar India’s Ambassador to Afghanistan on Thursday, June 20, 2019.
During the meeting both sides focused on bilateral ties of the two countries and facilitation electronic education and digitization of medical and Health Services.
The ambassador of India said that India is poised to make it possible the Afghans have access to and use the Indian satellite. He added that the India will provide 2 million dollars assistance for afghansat 2 activation
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology intends to create ground for school connectivity with the Internet and IT equipment and in areas where no connection accessibility is available through Fiber Optic, the schools will be connected through the satellite.
