1. Introduction to ANDC

n alignment with the current needs of the government MCIT had initiated the Afghanistan National Data Center (ANDC) project providing a backbone for the e-Government program.

ANDC is a state of art facility built to provide hosting and disaster recovery services to the government organizations.

The main data centre located at Kabul, MCIT building is a world class with state of art infrastructure having a capacity to house more than 30 racks for the time being and supporting a wide range of technologies. The server at the Data Centre provide a range of Basic & Value added Internet Services to Government departments & organizations at various levels right from Central Government to State to district administrations of Afghanistan.
