3^rd Round - Invitation to Register as Potential Incubatees for Ibtikaar

Ministry of Communications and IT (MCIT) of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has created a business incubator facility for Afghans (both male and female). This incubator is branded as “Ibtikaar”. Ibtikaar intends to recruit incubatees for the third time, which have innovative business ideas and are passionate about creating their own ICT startup companies. If you are one of them, Ibtikaar will provide you with the tools, facilities, mentoring and coaching to develop and sustain your startup company. An Incubator Management team will provide startup companies with the necessary infrastructure, logistics support and business development support services, all free of cost to help you launch the business you are fascinated about.

We are encouraging applications with business potentials in the field of ICT and ICT enabled services in cross cutting areas. We have so far recruited ICT startups in the following sectors: financial management, provision of government services, military, education, private sector development. We would like to further encourage applications in ICT including in agriculture, social development, health, women empowerment amongst others

Through this Business Incubator Program, MCIT aims to establish a self-sustaining incubator service to support new and growing Afghan business entities through an entrepreneurial approach and a commitment to helping new and emerging businesses in Afghanistan. Over the past 2 years, MCIT-Ibtikaar has successfully graduated 20 IT start-ups.
