Shahzad Aryobee Minister of Communications and Information Technology met with the officials of the Etisalat Telecom Company on Wednesday, March 27, 2019
The two sides discussed on preventing the sale of unregistered SIMs, increasing the quality of telecommunication and Internet services, and decreasing the price of services.
Shahzad Aryobee emphasized saying that selling out of unregistered SIMs would be unacceptable for the Ministry of Communications and Information.
He added that SIM card dealers are required to comply with the procedure developed by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and ATRA otherwise, the companies will be fined, and their operational licenses will be canceled by the ATRA office.
