MCIT celebrates 11th year adoption of Constitution

Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT) officially celebrated 11th year of adoption the Constitution of Afghanistan in a gathering, which was held at MCIT on Sunday 12th January 2015. The event was attended by H.E. Deputy (Admin & Fin) Minister Wahabbudin Sadaat, Board of directors of the MCIT, representatives of The Independent Commission for supervision Of the Implementation of the Constitution The representative of mass media.

At the beginning Mr.Wahabbudin Sadaat welcomed the participants and congratulated the 11th anniversary ratification the Constitution of Afghanistan. Mr. Sadaat said: that the constitution is the base and principle of other laws and a national guaranty, there is no country in the world to regulate the affairs without the rules and laws, therefore every citizen is obliged to observe the law. Further he said that there are two factors impeding us in law enforcement: corruption and mediation; eradication of corruption in a society needs to enforce the law. The rule of law prevails not only by its ratification, but enforcement, implementation and awareness of it provide opportunity and enables the people and political institutions to overcome the problems and gain fruitful results, the other important thing is modification of law according requirements of circumstances. He continued to achieve a positive result we must initially adapt it on ourselves, we should   pay serious attention on its implementation. He stressed whenever we are completely honest, law-abiding we can make big changes in our country.

Then member of The Independent Commission for supervision Of the Implementation of the Constitution Mr. Mohammad Farooq Faqid praised the MCIT for providing context of commemoration this important day and said: according provisions of the Constitution MCIT has largely provided   employment and created competitiveness in the market of our country. The Constitution has great value, because reconciles Islamic values with international priorities in it. Observing Islamic tenets prevent tyranny.

At the end voice Chairman of ATRA Mr. Khair Mohammad Faizi also spoke around the importance of the Constitution and law. He said: all our achievements and progress in the field of Telecommunications and Information Technology is in accordance with the Constitution and laws of Afghanistan.
