 Notice- Selection of Project Management Specialist for World Bank funded Project of MCIT; Afghanistan ICT Sector Development Project (Project ID P121755); Project Fund: IDA-H-665-AF; Contract Package ID: C4.1

This refers to REOI (including TOR) as published on the Websites of ACBAR, MCIT and DgMarket on 01st Oct, 2011.

This is to inform all concerned that Mr. Mohammad Ismail Bhat from Kashmir-India stands selected for the advertized PMS position. Details are given as under:-

  1. Consultants shortlisted for the PMS Post: 1-Mr. Mohammad Ismail Bhat from Kashmir-India;  2-Mr. Pramod Kumar Rastogi from New Delhi-India; 3- Mr. Naimullah Naimi from Kandahar-Afghanistan.
  2. Consultants interviewed for the PMS Post: 1-Mr. Mohammad Ismail Bhat from Kashmir-India;  2-Mr. Pramod Kumar Rastogi  from New Delhi-India; 3- Mr. Naimullah Naimi from Kandahar-Afghanistan.
  3.  Technical Points assigned to each Consultant who were interviewed by the Selection Committee of MCIT: 1-Mr. Mohammad Ismail Bhat-89.20 %; 2-Mr. Pramod Kumar Rastogi-72.40 %;3- Mr. Naimullah Naimi-58.80 %.
  4.   Final Point Rankings of the Consultants, based on Technical and Financial Criteria: First: Mr. Mohammad Ismail Bhat from Kashmir-India; Second:  Mr. Pramod Kumar Rastogi from New Delhi-India; Third:  Mr. Naimullah Naimi from Kandahar-Afghanistan.   
  5. Details of the Winning Candidate:  Mohammad Ismail Bhat is the winning Consultant; with a Contract Price of USD 720,000 USD (all inclusive, including Taxes) for a Contract Period of 48 Months. He will provide the Project Management Support for Afghanistan's ICT Sector Development Project of MCIT.
