Deputy Minister, Finance and Administration
Mr. Wahabuddin Sadaat
Deputy Minister Wahabuddin Sadaat was born in 1973 in sayed karam district of paktya. He completed his studies in Ansary High School in Kabul and continued his Bachelor’s Degree Studies in Business Administration in Islamabad. Mr. Sadaat completed his Master’s Degree Studies in Public Policy Administration from Kabul University.
Prior to working with the government of Afghanistan, Mr. Wahabuddin Sadaat has worked several years in United Nations World Food Program (WFP), United Nations Development Program (UNDP), and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and provided humanitarian and development assistance in Afghanistan, Pakistan and for short period of time in some African countries.
Mr. Sadaat has written a comprehensive document on improving Municipal Governance in Kabul as his Master’s Degree dissertation. Despite his work Mr. Sadaat has attended several national and international seminars and travelled to more than twenty countries on official business.
Mr. Sadaat has served his country as Director of Monitoring and Evaluation at the Office of Administrative Affairs and also as a Deputy Mayor at Kabul Municipality.
Mr. Wahabuddin Sadaat was proposed by Ministry of Communication and Information Technology and appointed as Deputy Minister Finance and Administration by H.E President Hamid Karzai, on 15 June 2010.
In addition, to Pashto Mr. Sadaat speaks Dari, English and Urdu languages fluently.
